This revolutionary camera provides ultra-high light sensitivity, ultra-high speed and mega-pixel resolution. It is a fully self contained, digital, high-speed camera that records brilliant color images with true High-Definition resolution up to 1280 x 1024 pixels at 1000 fps, and Extended Definition quality through 5000 fps. With an advanced CMOS imaging sensor, the NAC Memrecam fx K4 Camera captures images at a frame rate up to 168,000 fps for motion analysis and other scientific work.

The camera is designed to work well where a combination of high sensitivity, high image resolution and high recording rates are a must. The ATC Circuit allows the camera to automatically adjust both black balance and white balance without any manual intervention. The ATC Circuit sets industry standards by automatically optimizing image quality during prolonged camera operation.

One of the highlights of the NAC Memrecam fx K4 is the ability to record and store mega-pixel images for up to 14 seconds of shooting time at 1000 fps, making this camera an excellent choice for high-speed imaging applications. This equivalent to over seven and three quarter minutes on the screen when played back at 30 fps video display rate!

Once the camera's internal memory is full, it is easily downloaded to the supplied portable PC computer for data storage and rendering to "post production compatible" file formats. The camera is now ready to shoot again. Although the download process is relatively fast, the time required can be significantly reduced by only transferring the data from the memory of the Memrecam fx K4 that you actually want to keep.

Portable external storage drivers are available from Clairmont Camera for moving the data from your location to your post facility. Once the files are downloaded into the post houses system, the drives are then returned to Clairmont Camera or back to the shoot for further use.

Clairmont Camera has outfitted the NAC Memrecam fx K4 with an Arri style PL lens mount so most of the same lenses used in normal production can also be used for Ultra High-Speed work as well. A custom "riser/power converter" is attached to the bottom of the camera that allows use of Arri matte boxes and follow focus systems plus provides power for the on-board video sport viewfinder and other electronic accessories
